CatGENES.org is a cooperative effort by the Cat Fanciers' Association, Texas A&M University Animal Genetics Laboratory, and DNA Diagnostics, Inc. d/b/a Shelterwood Laboratories. Together, we offer affordable DNA testing services to breeders, veterinarians, cat lovers, and all who seek feline DNA testing for outstanding, healthier cats.

Clients of CatGENES.org have the unique opportunity to have their cat DNA tested at prices they can easily afford. DNA tests can be ordered and paid for online through a simple two-step process. Once DNA samples have been submitted, tests will be run and you will receive a DNA certificate of the results. Your cat's test results will become confidential information distributed to the owner only.

All feline submissions can easily be obtained using buccal (cheek) swabs. Cats can be tested at any age.
